Scott Moffatt: Frank and Darlana Moffatt's firstborn son was born on March 30th 1983, in Canadas Whitehorse, Yukon. 343 days later, on March 8th 1984, Darlana gave birth to triplets. They named their boy Scott Andrew Moffatt, and kept the trend with multiple names up, giving the triplets each three names (Clinton Thomas John, Robert Franklin Peter and David Michael William.). Frank and Darlana were later divorced, and both remarried. The boys grew up with Frank and his new wife Sheila Moffatt, while their mom Darlana - renamed Darlana Jahrig - ran their fanclub for several years. With so little time apart them, the four grew up as though they were all born in the same year. When Scott started public school, he only attended for one year until the triplets reached schooling age, and then the four were all homeschooled at the same level. Both parents being musicians, the four boys grew up with a lot of music around them. Scott bought his first guitar at age five, with money he earned from doing a childrens toy commercial dressed up as a little punkrocker. Since then, guitar has always been his instrument. In addition, he also plays the piano and violin. He sang lead on most of the songs during the entire career of The Moffatts, and is also mostly credited for the lyric writing. The latter may be due to quotes such as "When I wrote Misery...", "I wrote Spy and Just Another Phase when..." and "Scott is the poet of the four.". In the CD info however, they're all listed as authors. Scott is generally known to be a charmer, a player and a moody guy, true to his zodiac, Aries. He listens to a lot of alternative rock, his favourite kind of music, and likes to ski, watch football, hockey and movies. His favourite musicians/bands are Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. Subpages:
