CTV is working on a piece about Scott for their show eTalk, and it's been confirmed that it will air this evening at 7PM Eastern Standard Time. Check ctv.ca for listings in your area! Please note that the piece won't feature Scott himself as he's not in Canada and thus couldn't be interviewed for it. Still worth checking out though.

Word is spreading in the printed world as well, take a look at these recent articles:

3/19 Santa Claus
So it's a little late and it's not Christmas, but here's the second of our exclusive MP3's, recorded during the Holiday Train show in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on December 11th, 2005. The Moffatts - Santa Claus Once again, please do not upload this anywhere else or hotlink it.

2/5 Kissing & Bleeding
There's already a video and mp3 available of the song Kissing & Bleeding, but this one is from a different show and has less screaming:
The Moffatts - Kissing & Bleeding
It was recorded during the Holiday Train show in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on December 11th, 2005 and the mp3 was made from the video we have of the show. You can find the lyrics here. Once again, please do not upload this anywhere else or hotlink it.

2/4 German transcript available
For the German fans who aren't fluent in English, the lovely Firelake has translated the interview transcript to German. Thank you!

2/3 Video interview with Scott
We know that some of you won't care, but for those who do, please read this before downloading.

Interview with Scott in Sparwood, BC, on December 13th, 2005. The transcript is located here.

1/24 Video interview with Scott
On December 13th in Sparwood, BC, Scott was interviewed about what he's working on right now and his plans for the coming year. A downloadable video file and transcript will be available soon. For now, I want all of you to consider this: This video file will always be available on scottmoffatt.nu and also on scottmoffatt.org once it's open - if you wish to spread the word, simply link to either website. Please do not upload the file anywhere. People who try to take credit for other peoples hard work discourage us from making things like this available to everyone. We have a lot of pictures and media, but if it's just going to be stolen and displayed elsewhere under someone elses name, we're not going to bother putting it up. Please respect the copyright. And also, like I've said before, hotlinking to media files on this domain is not cool. I will change the names of my files if I discover anyone doing this, or simply take them down. Link to the website itself.

1/24 Gold record for Hang On
At the Holiday Train show in Calgary on December 12th, Scott, Clint and Bob were awarded with a gold record for sales of the CD 'In Harmony with Your Community: Music of the CPR Holiday Train 2005'. The song they contributed is called 'Hang On' and you can download it here if you haven't already. The CD was available at all the Holiday Train shows in 2005, and cost $10 CAD.

1/24 Holiday Train '05
Once again, Scott and two of his brothers, Clint and Bob, joined Canadian Pacific Railways charity event, the Holiday Train. For two weeks in December last year they travelled on a train from one end of Canada to the other, performing in a christmas show at each stop together with two other Canadian musicians, Amanda Stutt and Wayne Rostad. They sang 'Santa Clause is Coming to Town' and a song Scott wrote called 'Kissing & Bleeding'. There seems to be some confusion about what the name of the latter song is, and it is not 'Living This Way' as some fans have taken to calling it. The Holiday Train raised $423,000 CAD in 2005, and over 128 tons of food were donated to food banks in both Canada and the US.

11/18 Hotlinking
Please respect the work I have put into this website, and do not hotlink the mp3s I have put up. If you want to refer to them, link the domain itself. Thank you. If hotlinking doesn't stop, I will start to change the URL of the files weekly, and I most certainly won't be putting up any more mp3s in the future.

7/2 New hostee
Check out the new Moffatt fansite, Cutout Stars!

7/2 Site updates
Changed the layout back to an old one because it works better. I'm also making a lot of small changes and updates all over, but nothing worthy of mention. You might have noticed the new link on the splash page, 11:11am is a site that sells donation bracelets where the money goes to the Pediatric Cancer Reasearch Foundation. 11:11am is taken from the Something Corporate song Konstantine. Their lead singer, Andrew McMahon, was recently diagnoses with Acute Lymphatic Lukemia and PCRF is his charity of choice.

6/25 Awards
In the Banff Centre's April Music & Sound newsletter, it was announced that Shawn Everett had won first place in the Audio Post Surround category at the student recording competition during the 117th Audio Engineering Society (AES) convention in San Francisco this past October. His contribution was 'I Don't Remember Hurting', a Boston Post documentary. He also won fourth place in the Pop/Rock Stereo category for You Don’t Know What I Know by The Moffats. This means that at least some songs by the new band are fully recorded and perhaps something will be released soon.

He will be traveling to Los Angeles to work with producer and engineer Eric Dodd (Valentine), who has worked with Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, and the Dwarves."

6/25 Fansites
Confirmed to be a new fan website, scottmoffatt.org surfaced recently - promising to be a media based website. Amanda is back with scottmoffattonline, sporting a new URL: scottmoffatt-online.com.

6/25 Social Skills
Click here and scroll down to the bottom. Click play and then skip through songs until you find Social Skills. It's a finished but as of yet unreleased version of the song. A few of the other songs played at shows back in October '03 have been recorded as well and when asked the band said that 'everyone will get to hear them one day'.

Scott Moffatt
22 year old Scott Andrew Moffatt was the lead singer and guitarist of The Boston Post, a Bragg Creek, Alberta based band playing alternative and experimental rock. Scott previously played and sang lead in the famous Canadian band The Moffatts, who released several CDs the 9 years they played together.

The Boston Post released an EP, "It's 99 PM" on January 7th '03, and toured extensively throughout that year. Since then he's been involved in projects that never resulted in any CDs, and has now decided to release a solo album which he is currently working on in LA.

Live and loud
The Boston Post - Little Dots In Space
The Boston Post - Personal Jesus
These two live songs were recorded at Lee's Palace in January 2003. Personal Jesus is a cover of Depeche Mode, and is only linked here until SMO.com is up, then it will be available for download there again.
